    Thanks so much for publishing your amazing podcast series. You’re one of the good guys out there :-).

    I got a friend whose FBA business is doing just under $150,000/month, and he keeps telling me to keep giving away products, and get as many reviews as possible, as doing these can generate top ranking (assuming the listing is done properly).

    He believes doing giveaways / getting reviews are the 20% of the work that generates 80% of the results. Do you feel the same too about his theory?

    Also: how many units (per product) do you suggest that I give away PER month? 50? 100? Or…?

    • Hey Frank,

      He’s right to some extent. If you are in a more competitive niche you may have to continue to give away products, but for most niches the only “giveaway” that would be need would be an initial launch giveaway. Generally speaking I suggest sellers giveaway about 100 units to start and you’ll be able to get a sense of how well you will be able to compete from there!
